To My Side Wirbelwind!

Not much has been going on… Got RDM to 61 which is nice. Took a little bit of a break for now, until I get a little bit more free time and until I collect all the scrolls I need. Just have one left, Water III, which I can get off of the Sapphire Quadavs in Beadeaux.

In my last post, I talked about wanting the Homam Gambieras (feet) but there was a person that had way more points than I did in front of me. We did a run last week in which we were planning on doing a Proto-Ultima but didn’t have enough people for it so we did a vote and it  to do a Proto-Omega run instead. We waited for the person with a lot of points to come home, we were under the impression that he’d be on by 8:45, and by 9:00 he hadn’t shown up so we headed out. Mind you, our run that day was scheduled to start at 8:00. There was still another person in front of me in points but I still put my bid in for feet so that if, by the rare chance, two of them dropped I’d still get them if the one guy didn’t make it in time.

Sure enough, we got 2x Omega’s Tail! And just after they distributed the guy shows up. I can understand his frustration because these were the first Omega’s Tail that have dropped in almost a year. Granted I’ve only been doing Limbus for a few months and this was our third Proto-Omega in that time. However, this guy then started ripping into the guys that run the Limbus side of SpiritEvolution about how he’s been waiting for so long for them, he would have waited if we were doing Proto-Ultima for them, and so on. While it sucks that he’s been waiting so long for them, I can understand because it took me 3 years to get my Valor Breeches, there was no reason to go on such a childish tantrum that he did.

And so, to appease the tantrum, we’re going to try to run as many Omegas as we can. Despite that there are people that have even more points than he does for Ultima gear. I’m not entirely thrilled with that decision, but I will benefit from it. I don’t want as much Ultima gear as I do the Omega gear, but when you earn 1 point a run and someone has 90+ points for one piece of gear… it makes one sick when someone throws a tantrum like this.

I like the guy and all… but dude… it’s a game… IT’S DELUX SON! DELUX! IT’S NOT THAT HARD!
